It is one of the chief viharas among Buddha Viharas of Sirpur town of Mahasamund. It was built by a famous follower of Lord Buddha, Bhikshu Anand Prabhu. These vihar dates back to the era of Mahashiv Gupt Balarjun. It has various stone pillars along with numerous Dwarapal carvings at the entrance. The 6 feet Buddha statue is a prime attraction. It is 6 feet tall statue which depicts the unmatched designs and architectural brilliance. This vihar has 14 rooms. This shelter is called ‘Anandprabhu Kutir Vihara’ after the name of the creator. The ‘Swastika Vihara’ that was also excavated. A huge Buddha statue and metal idols relating to the Buddhist era was found.
